Plekanec is the greatest trade deadline acquisition ever and I never said anything to suggest otherwise.

I'm glad you said that so I didn't have to.  :P 8) 8) 8) 8)

Also LOL at Shanahan's reaction.  It's like he forgot to be all loufaced for a nanosecond.

Hahaha....

If Komarov is ready for Wednesday, would you put him in for Johnsson?
I think I would, we sacrifice some speed but Bruins were owning the walls in end.

Where are all his friends?

Boston's entire management/scouting staff probably aren't allowed on camera together anymore.

Found some!

It?s not good.

You don't change a winning lineup like that. Leafs have won 3 of 4 without him. You take your best shot in game 7 with the group that got you there.

Komarov will only be 88% ready anyhow (right Leafs Doctor?)

One of my biggest regrets in life was not snagging that twitter handle.

The first two periods, we didn't deserve to be ahead.  But that third period ... after that, we deserved the win.  That was an outstanding defensive period up and down the lineup, forwards, D, and of course 31.

Winning another in Boston will be tough, but the pressure's all on them.  If the Leafs can get out of the gate and keep it close through 2, an upset is possible.

Replace Johnsson, who has been effective at both ends of the ice, with a slow giveaway machine? No, no I would not.

I don't know if it's just me getting older and less worked up, but the team somehow seems calmer now than last year and 2013. It feels like the Leafs are going to win this series.

Also, Matthews is starting to pick his game up. If he starts flying again we should be able to beat them with speed and skill.

I did not expect them to get this far, even before games 1 and 2. Kudos to the Leafs for a gutsy effort. Winning game 7 will be a tall order. 3 in a row is hard at the best of times. Winning 2 of the 3 on the road against what I still believe is a vastly superior opponent, even moreso.

No expectations for game 7. I'm satisfied with the season they had. Everything now is a bonus.

My feelings exactly.

If he's ready to go, Babcock gives Polak the look like Michael Corleone gave Al Neri as Michael was hugging Fredo. Next thing you know Polak is breaking Komarov's leg in the dressing room

I'm pretty sure I popped a blood vessel in my eye trying to muffle the scream when Plekanec scored in to the empty net.  My kids were asleep.
