Bruins @ Leafs - Mar. 26th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

They let so much go and then they call that at the end of the game.  Way to go refs.
Soft hooking on the hands.  The #1 most dangerous offense in the NHL referee rule book.

At the very least they should have called embellishment to keep things even.

And again no call on Kadri.

I don't blame Kadri for starting that up.  What bullshit on the noncall down the other end.

Wow, what a non call.

I mean after all it doesn't really matter, but that's ridiculous.

Kadri gets crosschecked a foot from the boards...then Rielly gets nailed from behind.......better call those hooks though.  LOL...and then they find a way to call a crosschecking penalty on Kadri.

I think the book is out on Kadri- his prior embellishments are making the refs overlook obvious calls.

I didn't see what was so egregious from Ericsson on that race for the puck with Reilly.

I wish they would just stick the referees in a box up high with a little button to stop the clock for penalties. They're so useless anyways they might as well free up room on the ice.

The Leafs could have had a man advantage but instead lost the game. It was just frustration and Ericsson was the easiest target.

I would argue that he embellishes no more than anybody else.  He was legitimately drawing penalties all over the place earlier in the season (wasn't he leading the league at one time), and I don't see how he's changed that much.  He mixes it up all the time so he's in a position to get tripped, held, etc.  He does seem to complain quite a lot to the refs though, and I think they may be reacting to that.

I don't see the issue with the PAP call. With the goalie pulled the trailing team is going to get called for any obstruction that would reasonably prevent a goal.

I hate BOS. Non calls during the third period were ridiculous. Kadri gets cross checked no call. Garbage.

Good game over all.

I don't understand.  Up until the last what, 20 games or so Kadri had never had an embellishment penalty right?  Suddenly he has a 'reputation'?  And that means the refs can apparently just ignore actual penalties?  It's so dumb.

I don't think anyone who has ever played hockey can watch Kadri's game and say he doesn't regularly embellish/exaggerate contact. He's terrific at it, as the stats point out. But I think its likely the officials have been warned about the frequency that the training wheels seem to come off his legs when a stick comes up near his gloves, and now they're gunshy.

Has Kadri drawn a penalty since Babcock went off on the officials after the Minnesota game?
