I?m enjoying watching Samsonov. I?m seeing more of him than I?d like. But it?s enjoyable. So far.

Clock them timing of this post up to my delayed feed.

Jesus playing against a f'n AHL team. 3/4 of these guys I haven't even heard of and are basically scrubs and we are letting them take it to us. Unbelievable.

Giordano needs a night off.  And get it out, ZAR.

ZAR sucks. Keefe is a tool as well. Never calls a timeout to ream these guys out. I'd be giving it to the whole bunch half a period ago. Save it for tomorrow Sheldon.

It?s ridiculous that the shot totals have now evened up considering how poor they looked in period 1.

Nice dive by Anderson sends the Habs to the PP again. Keep playing with fire and 31st ranked PP is going to bag one the way this game is going.

This game reminds me of some of that playoff series from a couple years ago. Leafs getting some chances, but the Habs have been getting much better looks and could have two or three more.

Now a puck to the mask of Samsonov.

That. Period. Was. Rubbish.

For once it looked like they weren't goign to play down.  No such luck.

No intensity, outworked, outmuscled. Periods like that one that always has me thinking how far this team will go in the playoffs. I don't know how to explain it. Habs play hard and have been most of the season but with all the injuries this is inexcusable. That Kerfoot gaffe in the 1st that would have made it 3-0 is the turning point. Let's hope they rebound in the 3rd.

So where does the blame lie? I throw it on Keefe. Team has some weaknesses in my opinion that Dubas needs to address but Keefe is the one that has to get players up for games and not a period here and a period there. For a full 60 minutes.

I am not a big fan of Keefe, either.  But in today's world coaches that ride herd on the players don't last long.  That said, they just mentioned that St-Louis scratched Hoffman for four games to send a message.  That seems a bit much but I think Keefe needs to dial up on the players a little more than he does.

I kind of think I agree with this a bit. I think Dubas deserves another coach before he loses his job as well. I wonder if a more experienced coach is needed to take the team over the top.

Well, I am able to start watching finally.  3rd period is about to start and my son and his fiance flew to Montreal to watch the game in person tonight.

C'mon Leafs!!
