Canucks @ Leafs - Nov. 5th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

The good: Polak made a nice play to keep that shift alive skating into the Vancouver player near the blue line.

The bad: He once again plays weak in front of the net and let that Canuck get a bunch of whacks at the puck

Polak might just be a better player in the offensive zone than he is in the defensive zone.

That's funny, I just was looking that up as I felt the same way.

Anyways, it was in the 2nd vs. Edmonton.

They've also only been shorthanded 3 times since, so, it seems like they've just played in some very loosely called games.

Can the league make a rule against taking your mouthpiece out and chewing it?  Jeez.

Totally agreed. I suggest an email to Mr Lamoriello. He'll take care of it.

Marner can chew his mouth piece as much as he wants if he keeps making passes and plays like that

Passing Vancouver on the way up... l8tr sk8trs. Better trade the Sedins for some picks. See you in 3-5.

Marner is A) deadly and B) a nice example of why shooting isn't always the right play.

When are we ever going to see a Leaf team that can actually play defence. Horrible the coverage we see and the quality chances they give up on a nightly basis. Team will go nowhere until they limit those chances.

I get the feeling if Matthews gets another one he could get quite a few quickly after
