I have to think the Caps come out hard in this one, or they're done in the series. The Leafs have pretty much done the opposite of what I've expected all year, so you know...I'm going to call this a 7-2 blowout for the Buds.

Coming out hard hasn't been their problem. It certainly wasn't last game. I wonder what adjustments they'll make, if they do come out hard, to try to keep the Leafs from getting back into it.

I'm thinking the Caps win this one.  Did they ever lose 3 in a row all season?

Washington's losing streaks broken down:

x1: 0-4-0
x1: 0-2-1
x1: 0-2-0
x4: 0-1-1

edit: whoops, I was a dummy and wrote 0-2-2 in that last spot by accident.

I'd just like to see a team successfully defend a lead. Ideally, the Leafs, obviously, but, I just don't know if I can take 4 straight games going into OT.

Holy cow!  Did you guys see Ovechkin's interview?

http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/kadri-rat-komarov-getting-skin-ovechkin-capitals/

He called Komarov a "rat" and seemed to imply that he might be getting under his skin.  He also complained about the media putting too much pressure on the Capitals, asking them to back off.  Ovechkin looked nervous and uncomfortable to me.  I'm not used to seeing him like that.

Should be a great game tonight!  Go Leafs go!  8)

Man oh man, don't give them any ammunition Kadri. Keep to the generic hockey answer script and keep doing your thing.

I think the guy shaking his fist at Nylander is the same guy as on the train.

I'm not sure it is, but it's certainly the implication given the editing, it blew me away.

Very creative from a guy on the Leafs subreddit.

I wish she'd just left the mike up for the audience. They did a damn good job :)

She is a talented young person but I do not understand the decision to have her as the permanent anthem singer.
