Getting punched in the mouth again.

Of note, the leafs are only 7 points up on being out of the playoffs.  This team has zero concern right now.

Better than being 7 points out of the playoffs ffs.

At this stage of the season that's virtually a playoff lock. If the Leafs played .500 hockey for the rest of the season they'd still finish with 99 points and that's almost certainly good enough for the playoffs.

3rd straight game trailing 2-0.  No fight in this team.

The years the leafs were losing in the 2nd or 3rd round I always appreciated watching.  Felt like they could always win.  Sundin, Tucker, Roberts, Domi...those guys skated and worked.  Never felt like they weren?t willing to go through the boards.

This team?  Largely lethargic.  So much skill.  Drive hasn?t matched, yet.

Go turn it around boys.

Yeah, but they still have to do that.

If they keep playing like this without any urgency, by season end, 7 points out of the playoffs is totally possible.

Looks like they're gonna lose 3 in a row for the first time this season.

That being said, I think they've played well tonight. An Ovi PP clapper and a Gardiner cough up are pretty much par for the course.

They have looked awful.

No it isn?t

signing off, have a great evening. Team usually comes back when I don't watch them. Like with St.Louis.  Lets hope for a slightly better finish.

Those who don't remember history are doomed to repeat it.

Just a sort of nothingish performance tonight.

Maybe a losing streak will give them a wakeup call.

I know I lean pessimistic, but most of this boards attitude is rather cavalier towards the leafs playoff chances.  It?s not a guarantee with this type of effort.

This game isn't any more exciting than my crockpot citrus turkey roast I just pulled from my little brown helper.  It's serviceable, but nothing to brag about.
