Tough break for the Jackets... but the NHL is lucking out with some premium second round matchups now.

I don't know about luck, this is virtually what the playoff format was designed to produce, but yeah.

I know it feels better to see the 'best' teams go at it when the stakes are higher, but there is definitely a late-playoff fatigue that sets in for me, especially when our team is out of it. And the attrition of injuries is really a downer on the entertainment quality of the games later on. It's kind of nice to see some really good teams thrash each other while they're relatively healthy still.
