We?ve actually just returned from our first (post? Mid?) COVID pandemic holiday/vacation. We booked a last minute job about 2 weeks ago and headed off last Saturday.
It took slightly more preparation with a few extra forms to fill in. But the airlines and airports have their procedures running very slick. I?d say on our arrival in the airport in Tenerife it added an extra 2 minutes maximum to the various checks as they checked our vaccine certs (or in my wife?s case her proof of negative test) etc.
Interestingly on arrival back in Belfast nobody checked a thing (although we did have to show locator forms and vaccine certs on check in to receive our boarding passes).
It was absolutely brilliant to get a break again for the first time in 2 years and everything felt very safe and comfortable.
