Line-up Notes

?Smith will likely start for Phoenix
?Michalek and Morris will both likely be game time decisions on Phoenix's blueline

?Bernier probably starts, now and forever
?Smith is out indefinitely with a broken hand, while no roster moves have been made yet it's expected Smithson will be called up to replace him
?Projected lines are from the start of Tuesdays game, but they were juggled all game long
?I wouldn't be surprised to see Ranger (if healthy) and McLaren inserted back into the line-up

Um, Mr. Carlton, you've made the game day thread a day early?
He's doing it just to make sure the Leafs show up this time.

Haha.

Sometimes I write them up at work the day before. I used to save them to a usb and post it closer to the 24 hours prior to time but I would forget to actually save it quite a bit and so I'd have to write it up all over agian. So now I just post it when I finish them.

That, and there's really no harm in posting them early. Just gives us more time to discuss how we're going to inevitably lose.

For the first time this season I got up and turned off the Leafs, yes me nutman has had enough of the no show Leafs. I turned it off at 2-0. am glad I did. this is the worst I have seen the Leaf in a long time, even the off the cliff leafs were playing better.

I agree with several leaf fans when they say the buds are playing without heart. As far a I am concerned the fans need to show up at the ACC with bags on there heads, maybe the ACC should hand them out, and we can call it fan appreciation night.

The `80 were dreadful, yet there was Clark. Although I'm not sure there's a successful player out there now who has heart.  The league punishes it.  This heart should focus squarely on Dion Phaneuf's shoulders.  He's the caption.

Is Randy really going to be putting our 3rd leading scorer on the 4th line?

(Nothing would surprise me.)

That's the same position he was noted in last games lineup where he had the 4th highest toi among Leaf forwards for the game.

Wait a minute... This guy is slacking off at work?  Someone get his boss on the line.

I got a bad feeling about this one.  I also heard on the radio that there's absolutely NO pressure on Carlyle to be fired until the Leafs miss the playoffs this year.  So those hoping for a long losing streak to can the coach are not going to be happy.

The Coach is not the problem. The team needs to play with some pride. Clarkson needs to live up to his hype (Not Likely going to happen). I am expecting them to win, 3-2.

Those line-ups aren't written in stone. We should have a clearer look when the team hits the ice for practice in 15 minutes.

I hope the message got through loud and clear to the players.
