Devils acquire Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson

I mean, at least Edmonton is trying to address the holes in the defence, but . . .

Yeah, like I get it. Maybe RNH and Eberle weren't getting the defenceman that they wanted. But trading a top-5 left winger in hockey for a #3, maaayyybbbeee #2 guy is just nutso. I don't think I'd trade Gardiner for Adam Larsson.

I'd sure have traded Gardiner for Hall.

Imagine being the GM of both Tyler Seguin and Taylor Hall and trading both before either one turns 25.

Both astute and astounding.

From what I understand this is a one for one deal @hallsy04 for Adam Larsson..

This would have to be one of the worst trades ever made.

This is fireable.

Man, you sure hope that Edmonton's scouts see some huge potential for growth there because otherwise...wow.

Friedman confirms: Hall for Larsson. That's it.
Is Larsson that good? Like is he the best stay at home D that ever existed? Because if that's the trade, he better be.

Who can we get for Hunwick?

Rielly for McDavid seems pretty likely if that's the exchange rate.

Somebody scrape together some possession stats that show that Larsson is basically on the level of Duncan Keith.

I'm stunned it's a one for one deal.  Hall was the first overall pick and he's a pretty damn good player.
