What a shot from Tim Stutzle
Koskinen playing the sieve.

7 year old me asked my best friend to eat more so he would cover the entire net when playing goal.  Present day me now realizes that bad goaltenders find a way to leave space.  He?s 8000 feet tall and manages to leave space open.

So we have hit the mid-way point of the season finally.

28-10-3 -59 points
146 goals for, 111 goals against
16-4-1 at home
12-6-2 on the road

On pace for:

56 wins (Franchise record 49)
118 points (Franchise record 105)
32 Home wins (Franchise record 29)
24.6 Road wins (Franchise record 23)
292 Goals for (Franchise record 337?would be most goals since 92-93)
222 Goals against (Franchise record 204 in 82 games)

And 3rd in the division. What a country!

Thankful for another 3rd period explosion.

Jack Campbell has certainly been grounded since the Covid layoff. Hopefully that doesn't last.

Hopefully the week all star break let's him reset and get back to playing like he did before.

He's not going back to .940 SV%. He just needs to get back to not letting in stoppable goals every game. I think he'll get some confidence back being at the all Star weekend.

On the upside, his future contract value had been skyrocketing but under present circumstances might end up being a little more manageable.

Mason Marchment had a 6 point game for Florida tonight.  Good to see him having success.  Certainly didn?t see this kind of production coming from him while he was in Toronto
Mason would have been good on our 4th line at this point. Simmonds is starting to tail off again.
