Devils @ Leafs - Nov. 8th, 7:30pm - TSN, TSN 1050

They actually froze one below the centre face-off dot for good luck.

This exchange is scatological.  But funny.

Re Janssen, I'd like us to sign Kabby to a one-game contract and send him out there with concrete-reinforced elbow pads.

Two things I want to see happen.

1. The leafs win tomorrow
2. The Devils finish bottom 5 AND win the draft lottery.
Two things I want to see happen:
1. The Leafs win tonight.
2. New Jersey falls into a giant sinkhole.

Eh, I'd rather just see them win (aka lose) the lottery.

I always found the Carolina and Devils games are always a snooze-fest, but since we haven't any hockey, for what it seems an eternity, I may just have to watch.

Go Leafs!

P.S. Thanks for the heads up on the HHOF ceremonies.

Carlyle revealed today that Orr has been battling injuries and hasn't been 100% since training camp.

I'm speechless. He could probably take a dump at centre ice and still play the next game.

Though, really, is an injured Orr any more ineffective than a fully health Orr?

Fair point. Although now I really want him to put my theory there to the test.

Though, is a steaming pile of turds any more ineffective than a fully healthy Orr?

I get that you are having fun but that is harsh. The man has been an NHL player for over 5 seasons and that should earn him some respect.

No poop in there.  Just the crack.

Orr is a gametime decision (injury).  If he can't go, sounds like the Leafs will dress 7 D which means Rielly draws back in. #TSN

I'd be surprised if Carlyle doesn't just have him sit on the bench for 60 minutes instead of 55.

So the Devils are 2-8 on the road and 29th in the league in goals scored.

Should be a winnable game.

Usually I hate long winded, extended pre game ceremonies. But honouring the vets, this one I like. I respect. I remember. Thank you.

OK guys, help me here: I have been hearing this for years ... who was Princess Patricia, and why is there a regiment named for her?

read the wiki page on it ZBBF, it's the daughter of the Duke of Connaught whom the general at the time wanted to name the regiment(s) after.

Thanks LHF.  Gotta love the name "the Princess Pats."
