That's about right I guess. He'll probably go for less than what we gave up to acquire Bernier though.

"Hello, is Garth Snow there?"

Yeah. I mean, this is a league where Reto Berra garnered a 2nd round pick, after all.

I still don't understand that one. Was it his .897 SV% or the fact that he is 27 that inspired Colorado to give up a 2nd round pick for him?

That's part of the problem, that he is more "proven." Bernier was coveted because of his potential, which seems to be proving true. Reimer has proven that he's still a pretty shaky option as a number 1 and not a good fit as number 2. So think he probably wouldn't draw more than a second round pick as a bit of gamble. While we might like to think otherwise, hard to see any better as a reality.

Buffalo wouldn't get the Islanders pick in that scenario, as it would have been traded to the Leafs. The Sabres would have to agree to take the Leafs' pick this year instead of the Islanders' pick next year for that to work.
Probably - I think that big contract we gave him included a new road hockey net and a fresh set of "showdown" target. ;DHighlander said:Yes one of his bunny out of the hat moves. Where is Jason now, taking pot shots at his garage door from 40 feet out?
