Flames @ Leafs - Apr. 13th, 7:30pm - SNO, TSN 1050

All the interference and the Leafs are the only team getting penalties.  This is painful to watch

Can someone tell Marner he doesn't have an elite shot and to stop trying to force it at every chance?

Half the time he waits too long. Has a chance to shoot but he's always looking to do something then it's too late. Shoot the thing.

My guess is he's the guy who ends up sitting once everyone's good to go.
Engvall is first

Engvall playing C could keep him in a little longer until Nash is back since Keefe hasn't put Thornton or Spezza in the middle at all this season. But yeah my guess is they're both sitting once fully healthy.

Despite the goal Hyman  hasn't been good tonight. Just killed the play in the O zone and then gave it away at the blueline

Probably. Engvall does nothing offensively.

I mean neither does Simmonds or Thornton.

I was just think how awesome late 90s NHL hockey was.  I think the key to a good professional sports league is to make the game boring and unwatchable

True enough but they have more potential to do something....maybe lol.

Thornton hasn't been terrible tonight but how about giving Robertson a shot there in the 3rd? Maybe his fresh legs and creativity would have an impact there.

Sutterball is not very exciting but you can see why he does it.
It's ridiculous cause there should already be a ton of penalties on Calgary. If they actually called interference they wouldn't be able to play this style.

Ya I seen Marner chirping on the last PK at the refs. Officiating has been absolutely horrendous this year in my opinion.

They won't call them now or in the playoffs.

Hey they eliminated it in the OHL this year due to Covid mind you but simply ridiculous. So you never know. Nothing surprises me in this world anymore they might decide to run with it.

No they didn't and there is no reason to think they would eliminate hitting, this unfounded fear is not a valid reason to not eliminate fighting.

Technically they eliminated it along with passing and goals and games.
