I think we need our #1 goalie back.

And not that it was a malicious play, but a hit to the head of our goaltender = 0 game suspension

Yeah, I still think that should have been something.  There have been other non-malicious plays that have been given suspensions, accidents even.

He should have had both, I agree, but Gardiner was useless on the first and Liles on the second.

Yeah. I think I'm more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt on the second one, since it may have gone off Liles' stick, but the first one . . . all on Gustavsson. That was a routine play behind the net that he blew that left his teammates in poor position to recover in time.

Why is Gardiner still playing in the NHL at this point?  He's really starting to struggle in the defensive zone.

Gus just doesnt get any better.  Truly unfortunate.

The worst thing you can say about Gus is that he's been playing as poorly as the rest of the team.

To be fair, why are the forwards 20 miles behind the Florida forechecker on that play.  The entire thing goes on Gustavsson but the Florida player was able to grab the puck, skate around the net and get a partial shot before the Leafs got back in the play.  That's just unacceptable.

Can't agree. Yes, it was a poor play behind the net but it's a play that leads to nothing if Gardiner doesn't do absolutely nothing and just watch his man get behind him.

I was looking forward to the 3rd period push, but it doesn't seem to matter now.  I'm pretty sure we're on our way to under .500.

Obviously we need Reimer back.  Thanks again captain smurf!

What the hell Gus he was doing fine handling the puck a while ago but in those lowlights he looks awful

It went from 1-0 to 3-0 on my way home from work...my trip home is a walk across the street  :-\

I agree with Maclean there: put Gustavsson back in and let him battle.  Or see if he does.
