Game 16 - Toronto Maple Leafs @ St Louis Blues W3-2

A penalty was bound to be called but I can't stand those stick slash penalties.  Stop making the sticks out of paper.

I know they are a man down, but why is there always a guy free in the slot.  (That was a great pass by Pietrangelo).

It seems to be a standard way to break down the Leafs PK.  Have the defenseman skate down into the corner and two guys go chasing after him and the box/diamond falls apart and someone gets left alone in the slot.

I think in that case it happened so quickly, Arnott was still basically in rotation/motion when he got the pass, that the PK hadn't yet adjusted to the change.  A second later and Komisarek is there, as he's on his way, but the pass happened bang-bang.

The Leafs are incapable of playing both offence and defence.

Also, I'm disgusted by how soft and physically overmatched this team is.

Man, I'm wondering if maybe a timeout earlier might have been in the cards.  This entire period has been St.Louis in the Leafs zone.  Given the overall team play in the last 5-6 games, this is not a sign that the Leafs are working hard to prevent a losing-streak.

The Bruins offense seems to have woken up.  24 goals in their last 5 games.
22 goals in their first 10 games.
