I just don't understand how EVERYONE can lose their minds at the same time....Goose all over the place and everyone else without a clue who they're supposed to be watching or where they need to be on the ice....

Have you played before?
Maybe he has, maybe he hasn't. But I think it would be safe to assume he didn't get paid 1 million+ dollars to play. Gustavsson was all over the play on that play. No excuse for that.

I was referring to the everyone losing their head part.

Being hemmed in your own zone happens, to every team, at every level.

Have I mentioned how much I dislike Greg millen? Does he even know what he's saying?

Just think what poor Bowen has to go through working with him. I wish he could bring Ralphie with him for the tv games.

Lehtonen's been very good.

Kulemin still can't buy one.

Honestly.  Right now he'd take one if all it did was hit him in the ass as he tripped over a hash mark.

Stop the pass across....please?

Wow watching Franson play defence actually makes me miss Komi

Well except Franson makes up for it on offense, but whatever.

But they both have 4 points and Komi is +3 Franson -4....umm minus 5 now

Yeah and Komi is on pace for 18 pts and Franson 41 so my point stands.

So Komi is on pace for +15 or so and Franson -40? LOL don't really care for either but Komi plays the body more when he is playing a simple gome. Franson would do better if he played the body more and wasn't so soft for such a big guy.

Well no doubt, but he's 24 in his 9th game of the year. Komi is a 29 year old offensive black hole, who at time has defensive lapses. If there's a hope for the club in the future, it's more likely to be Franson than Komi, but you're entitled to think Komi's the better solution.

It's games like this that make me really confused when people complain about his play though.  This has probably been one of his better games, but he has had many chances like that and they just aren't going in for some reason.  If he scores one I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see him win player of the week or even player of the month because he goes off on an extended hot streak.

If the hockey gods allow Kulemin to break out of his slump in the 3rd I will be forever grateful.

I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy about how this game is going. We need Gunnarson back.

Schenn, however, is back to playing an quietly effective game.  And Liles has also been good.  In fact except for about 5 minutes there the d has been pretty good.

Dallas couldn't get it out.  Don't know how they all get running around like that at once.

It's almost like there are other guys on the ice trying to keep the puck in the offensive zone.

Neither one is the solution and Franson will never be "hope for the future" the Leafs need unless he is used in a trade

Well that period was not the best. at least it is still tied. I am hoping Steckel is back soon along with Gunderson.

Well I'm glad you can see the future. Must be nice.

Let's see the team take this one.  A win in a kind of lackluster road game like this is what adds up to a playoff spot.

Haven't checked the times, but Mirtle says Franson has hardly played since the 2nd Dallas goal.

He has the least ice time of any Leafs defenceman, so, it's definitely a possibility.

Dallas does a really good job of getting all over guys on the forecheck.  They don't give the defense very much room to make plays.

As for Franson, I'm not sure it had much to do with the 2nd Dallas goal.  He played 3:22 in the 1st and 3:23 in the 2nd.  He's already over 2:00 in the 3rd though.
