Leafs playing pretty well. Still in this game.

Kostka played the 3rd goal really badly.

Our D should just play the rebound off Scrivens...that's what the opposing teams are doing

The puck never even got to Scrivens on the 3rd goal. Kostka went down to block it, which took him out of position and left Krejci with the gaping net.

First time checking in to this thread.  Despite the score, I'd say this was the leafs best game in weeks.  They made a couple of brief mistakes that cost them goals but they've actually been able to break out of their zone consistently and maintain some offensive zone presence against another team at the top of the league.

Having said that, it does seem that Seguin averages like 3ppg against Toronto.  Hockey Gods don't love us.

We need a miracle!

If we were only down one I could hold out some hope that Grabbo or even Kessel might bury one and tie it up.  Down two I put higher stock in lottery tickets than the Leafs getting back in this game.

Someone out there definitely loves sifting through 4 million pages of "the trade".

I agree with you. So far, I think this is the best game they've played since they drubbed Montreal.

They're working on fighting they might as well get rid of the hitting to. League is becoming a joke. 60 minutes of shinny anyone?

I agree.  The Leafs aren't playing bad.  A couple of bounces and the Leafs could be back in this.  THe Leafs certainly aren't playing scared like the past.

C'mon Leafs!!!

Fantastic kick save by Scrivens on the rebound as well.
