Game 27: Toronto Maple Leafs @ New York Rangers W4-2

Not sure what Bozak did there to deserve a penalty. I mean, that play has happen dozens of times tonight without a call.

I never, ever complain about officiating but that was a terrible call.

You clearly can't touch someones stick

Crappy call aside, it'd be nice if we could kill a 2-man advantage sometime.  We literally can't kill them.

I know it's not something that's readily apparent when you see the Leafs up two men but killing that off is really hard.

I hate watching games in MSG and on Leafs TV it is even worse.

Okay penalty killed.

We are still up 3-2. Go Leafs Go!!

I'm calling out Steckel on that one.  Taking a penalty right after the other team scores is brutal.

You don't need to hook someone to the ice for it to be a penalty. Was it the strongest hooking call? No. But Bozak shouldn't have his stick up like that. That's on him.

Especially when a team can throw out a guy like Brad Richards to facilitate the PP.  It's not like they blew coverage leading to the goal...it was a good pass that capitalized on the 2-man advantage.  The refs can be thanked for making this a close game...and the refs alone.  Well, Steckel's play was a penalty but the Bozak thing was garbage.  I don't even think he actuall touched his gloves, his stick checked him near the gloves but not on them.

Yep, can't fault the refs for a call that's been made for years now and every player knows too well.

PS - I don't care if someone else just posted, post it! Damn stupid forum software

Hard, yes, but I figured I'd see it happen sometime this year.  One can hope.
On another note, for a guy who never plays, Armstrong gets a lot of great press.
