Rosehill was from the rear.

Maybe a litte, but the contact was more with Lupul's shoulder than anywhere else. Maybe should have been a penalty, but, not suspension worthy. If Hall's not there as part of the hit, we're probably not even talking about it anymore.

You may be right.  I'm steamed that Lupes is hurt.

Sure looks to me like Hall gets Lupul's head, despite Millen's thoughts to the contrary.

Ok, ignoring Millen for a minute, that hit from Rosehill would have been a head shot even without the hall hit.

Seeing the slow motion replay they just showed, both hits clearly came from the side. The problem was that there were two hits, from opposite sides, that landed at almost the exact same time.

He gets the head, but it's not the principle point of contact, which is the key for whether or not it's suspension worthy.

There's no question for me that the Lupul hit is a blindside hit. It's a classic clip.

If Lupul's was a suspension then this is as well. Also this looks to have a rather serious injury. Shanahan will have a hard time explaining no suspension if that's what he chooses.

Yeah, and the problem is how is Lupul supposed to see them both at once, and one hit came just like under a sec before and rocked him a bit, and then comes the other hit.

Liles! Unless it hit someone.

PK & Reimer have been excellent.

Our PK gives me a stiffy... lol
Really nice to not believe that you will be scored on simply because your PK is only better then Avery's choice in sunglasses.

Hey Gunnar... take the fricking MAN not a sightseeing tour of the puck...

Do we really care if its a blindside hit or not? Do we really care if Jay effing Rosehill gets suspended? I want McClaren to break his @!#\*!& face.

I bet it's a concussion and I bet he's done for the year.

As much as I didn't like that there was a suspension on Lupul's hit, he did pretty clearly make an extra effort to hit Hedman in the head. I don't see either Flyer player doing that here.

And, trust me, I hate defending anything related to the Flyers.
