Tonight?s game is huge.  Not just for the obvious difference of a series tied at 2-2 versus being up 3-1 but also because Columbus is already resting and waiting.

Playing another 4 hard games before moving on doesn?t sound good.

I won't even care what happens in the next round if they win this series.
You say that now ;)

Winning this series would be a huge step forward for the young players, that's for sure.

To me if we get past the first round not winning the Cup, or at least not getting to the Finals, will be a pretty big disappointment. Tampa and Boston were the only teams that I felt were ahead of us.

Making it to round 2 was what I hoped for prior to the season, so if they meet that, I'll be happy. Anything that happens after that would be a bonus for me.

Their maturation as a team will be solidified if they come out with a desperate effort knowing  Boston will press and how much better 3 - 1 is than 2 - 2.  I hope it isn't like Game 2 all over again.  Officiating will once again play a role, I think.

Calm down guys let's win this one first.

What we discuss has no impact on the result of the games.

It gets my hopes up though! And the higher they are, the more at risk my feelings are. Unless I just drink till I can't feel feelings anymore...

Okay carry on.

If the Leafs advance the more time off between series' the better, particularly since Gardiner and Dermott are still aching.

Being a life long Leafs fan I don't ever remember a Leafs team taking the easy route in playoff series. One sweep against Ottawa was the outlier.
