Game 4 - Colorado Avalanche vs Toronto Maple Leafs OTL3-2

You know, I haven't really noticed Liles so far, and although he's supposed to be an offensive presence on the backend, I still think that's a good thing.

He's been pretty solid defensively and I would gander that he's keeping things simple in the early going and perhaps we'll see him becoming increasingly active (like his pinch and dangerous shot earlier in the 1st) as the games pass by.

If this team can start developing chemistry with some of the new guys, and can start firing on all cylinders this year I think they can really surprise a lot of teams. A little bit more organization out there would go a long way. All in all I see a tough team to play against.

Is it only during breakaways that 'touching the puck first' somehow negates a trip by a defender? I played that way in soccer but it was consistent no matter where you were on the pitch, hockey seems up and down depending on where the play is.

Just went to put dinner on the stove and came back to see them on the PP and apparently not missing much.
