That was probably the leafs best defensive game of the entire season. Well done. Zero passengers.
Absolutely. And if I hear anyone say Matthews doesn't bring it, they can piss off.

Waiting for Herman to tell us how awesome Hyman is.

Aren't you changing your prediction to Bruins in 7 now? By the way who won the $100 on your bet Leafs wouldn't win 2 games? Amazing fan you are.

Don't know how that wasn't offside but who cares.

I guess I was already salty about the officiating in this game, and then the league calls to review an offside, which turns out to be a critical rest period for the Bruins' top line. I know conspiracies are nonsense, because at least they didn't call back Matthews' goal, but holy crap, the leafs were playing against bad odds from the puck drop.

In the last 10 games Eric Furlatt has reffed for Boston, the Bruins are 9-1. Tonight was the 1.

All goals are automatically reviewed in the last minute.

Nylander is a better center than a winger. He had an amazing game.
He had a much better game tonight. He worked hard and went to the net a lot.

It wasn't so much offense, cause he's not going to get much help from his linemates, but he was competing along the boards, winning critical battles, skating hard and not relying just on skill - and was a key peice tonight.. He was terrific - dare I say it, from what I've seen since he's swapped over, I'd rather see him continue in that role over Naz.

League must be furious they let this one go against Boston. If only they had any way of calling back one of Toronto's goal, I'm sure they would have done it for sure.

Agree!

But surely the situation room has a better angle and viewing equipment than the referees, so unless they really have a case, why are they calling down, and why would the ipad show anything better than in the situation room? It makes no sense.
