I think its time to blow this team up and fire the management.  This is simply unacceptable.  Florida, Winnipeg, and Ottawa were considerably behind us when we began this rebuild and in such a short amount of time not only caught up to the Leafs, but significantly surpassed them.  This franchise is a laugh stock and if Florida and Winnipeg make it above us it will consolidate one more disgrace.  Imagine the pundits and Leaf haters' expressions when the Leafs become the only team since the lockout to fail to make the playoffs?  Almost a decade of failure and we have one blue chip prospect and a ton of overrated and overpaid players.  Phaneuf is garbage.  Not even close to being a number one defense man.  Terrible skating ability.  Everybody else on our D-Corps besides Gardiner is barely average.  Our forwards aren't much better either.  As far as I am concerned Grabovski has to go.  Why do we need to re-sign this guy?  Where has he brought us?  And now he wants 5 million?  Riemer is not and will never be a number 1 or 2 goalie.  Gustvasson has been betrayed by the coaching staff.  Did he cost us the game against New Jersey?  Yes... but I highly doubt a mistake like that would have happened if he was proclaimed number 1 goalie in January, as he should have been, but yet again Wilson takes the pride route.  Any good work Burke has done has been ruined by Wilson.  Schenn has regressed, Kadri is treated like a yoyo, there is almost 10 million dollars worth of cap space eating popcorn in the press box on a consistent basis, and now the media and the management is trying to convince itself that Nash is somehow the answer, when the answer to rebuilding has always been through the draft.

Sorry, you didn't have me at your nick.

It's a bit of a rant but there's more than a kernel of truth in (some of) it.

I was just blown away at the nickname.

Either way you slice it, the team consistently plays below its potential and has extended losing streaks every season that put them out of the playoffs. It's nothing short of a miracle that losing 8 of 9 and they're still only 2 points out.

Wilson is unfortunately here to stay

Man.  How many times does a goalie rob your team and then you wind up with the puck in the back of your net...when it's the Leafs who get the big save, rarely.

I'll give Phaneuf credit, he's played much better after the first 5.  He's kept Ovie in check.

I'd say the team owes Reimer a couple of goals after that save...he has been bad but we're not going anywhere if we can't get on the board

Well I'll give Wilson some credit I was doubting he would shuffle the lines but now Frattin is on the 2nd, Armstrong the 3rd and Kulemin the 4th
