Good to see him back. Wonder what Littlefinger is planning. Probably trying to put a wedge between Arya and Sansa. Sansa's become a bit of a bitch.CarltonTheBear said:GENDRY
Nik the Trik said:I enjoyed the episode quite a bit but I think when Game of Thrones is finished and anyone attempts to watch the thing as a single piece the shift in pace of this season is going to be jarring.
When you have the world's most popular show, keeping a lid on new episodes is tough, apparently. After Game of Thrones' fourth episode hit torrent sites due to a leak from HBO partner Star India, episode 6, due to air on August 20th, was accidentally released by HBO Nordic in Spain. It was quickly pulled after an hour, but during that brief period, someone of course managed to copy the episode and it quickly appeared on torrent sites and the infamous Freefolk Game of Thrones leak Reddit.

Now that it looks like the books might never come out

Next year is 2018. Given that Dance was released in 2011, you can start the 7 or 8 year timer for the final book, provided Martin doesn't die before that.

I sort of agree that this season is probably more satisfying than seasons of "Arya and the Hound walk for miles" but I do think that when looking at the show as a whole the jump in pacing will be a weakness.
Or, alternately, to remove it from concepts of good or bad I think it will be very revealing for how this show was made. Early on, you could argue, they were maybe hoping that this could run 8 or even 10 seasons so that the books could come out and they could keep a deliberate pace. Now that it looks like the books might never come out and actors and writers want to move on, they're really having to race to the finish line.
