Not likely but Sam Carrick outplay Zigomanis the other night and had as many shots on net as the entire American's team. I want to see some of these young guys replace our plugs and we know who they are.

so why not bring up Carrick for a few games. Supposedly he is a scrappy hard nosed kid and built like Rielly so going into the corners is not an issue and hard to knock of the puck. At least worth a look and he would go back to the Marlies more of a man

I suppose the one bright side is if the Leafs don't call another centre up it'll force Randy to play McClement on the 4th line.

not sure why everyone's so thrown by smithson being sent down...he has been a total waste of time in my opinion.
Holland should be in full time until both bozak and bolland are back. I'm chalking holland's playing time to carlyle going with guys who have been in the system since the beginning of the year and letting Holland get himself familiar with his linemates and whatnot.
also, mcclement has to be on the 4th line and dressing orr and mclaren in the same game is rediculous.
finally, maybe their calling up leivo with lupul still out and kessel obviously not at 100%.
