Hurricanes @ Leafs - Dec. 23rd, 2:00pm - SNO, Fan 590

Leafs definitely look tired, lots of things are just "off" by a little but it's enough against a decent team. They look slow making decisions, a little late on passes, everything. I think there was one play in the second that said it all - Matthews was all alone in the slot and the pass came out to him. The pass was a bit in his feet but he completely wiffed. Normal Matthews I think would have gotten a good shot off there but he couldn't even corral the puck.

May just be one of those games. We'll see what happens but it doesn't look to me like they have enough in the tank for a comeback.
I dont know the play you're talking about but there was one that was a brutal pass by Marner. No way Matthews could get a shot off there. Normally it's on his stick back of the net.

Human Marner Matthews has been a line all game.  To Millen Keefe went to them to try and get something going.

Yeah like Millen's usually pretty bad but this game has just been embarrassing for him.

They point out a Nylander giveaway.  Two consecutive pass attempts by Muzzin lead to Carolina scoring chances and a goal.  No comment from our broadcasters

Yeah I don't like to get on Andersen but that was one you probably should and have to stop, big deflater
