Hurricanes @ Leafs - Dec. 29th, 7:00pm - LeafsTV, SN 590

The overhead flash strobes at the ACC are the worst/most annoying in the league.

I'm surprised everyone puts up with the constant full screen flashes considering how many people watch these games on TV in this market.

Orr and D'Amigo have two shifts.  Holland only has one?  So not only on the 4th line but he missed a shift too?

Meanwhile.  8 minutes in.  0 shots.

Carolina has had a few glorious chances to score and Bernier made a really big save, but this looks like two teams who have next to no ability to handle the puck.  So many flubbed passes and really slow decision making.

Is there a problem with the ice at the ACC? I've noticed sloppy puckhandling the last couple games from both teams.

I wonder if the Phaneuf extension is already done, but they're waiting for a regulation win to announce it.  ;D

Leafs are likely to get a shot on the PP but 11:14 into the game and 0 shots on goal.  Being outshot 7-0.

McClement 1/4 on faceoffs
Holland 1/1
Kadri 1/2
Bozak 2/5

Watching Orr lumber in the offensive zone unlike the mobile D'Amigo/Holland was entertaining.  There were two plays where he took the long route to the puck rather than the direct route and it prevented him from continuing the cycle.

Remember when we had two of those guys in the line-up?

So, he might not be extended before the trade deadline then.

I refuse to believe it happened for a season and a half.  I hope Orr plays the whole season though.  I want him to set the record for futility.
