Hurricanes @ Leafs - Jan. 19th, 7:30pm - TSN, TSN 1050

I'm done with this. I'm going back to playing mass effect.

Yes. I just started mass effect, I'm aware how old it is.

The Leafs are at that point they usually reach a little later in the season where I genuinely enjoy watching them sucking because it's frequently hilarious.

Look out powerplay--here comes David Clarkson!

As much as our top 6 has been garbage over this stretch.  The Leafs current bottom 6 has put up:
26 points on the season in 156 games.  In their last 20 games the Leafs bottom 6 players have put up 6G 4A.  There is literally no secondary scoring on this team right now.  Teams can just put all of their energy shutting down our soft top 6 and exerting no energy against the bottom 6 because of how bad it is.

Missing Lupul, Holland, and Komarov definitely hurts. But yeah, that's a brutal bottom-6 right now. 4 of those guys are either AHLers or won't be in the NHL next season (Smith, Carrick, Frattin, and Booth), one shouldn't be in a NHL line-up right now (Clarkson), and the other is a young player still trying to find his footing in the NHL.

Once again, MacKenzie the voice of reason on Kessel.

What did he say, I missed the intermission so far.

He's the only one that said they should keep him.

I'm no longer sure that they should, assuming they can get a good return for him.

What's a good return though? A draft pick that may someday be nearly as good as Kessel?
