Idiocracy 2024

I'm sorry, what?

Directly translated quote from their press office
"we are also bringing to this campaign the assistance of the United States, my friend, US President Donald Trump, and the US military. This coalition of forces allows us to do what I have yearned to do for 40 years: smite the terror regime hip and thigh. This is what I promised – and this is what we shall do"

We can view a regime as dangerous. Bombing children crosses such a blatant flipping line. The fact that the war is partially being performative to distract away from a global pedophile ring is disgusting. Heads need to roll and as usual it's the innocent ones that are facing that consequence.
At this point, I'm find it pretty near impossible to view Iran as in any way "dangerous" compared to the two regimes that are now carpet bombing the capital of a country they attacked in the middle of negotiations. TBH I don't think the US or Israel view Iran as dangerous either. They viewed it as weak enough to attack.

They are dangerous to Israel which is important enough for the US to care about I suppose. But they were never any kind of threat to US soil. That's just complete nonsense.

Israel absolutely views Iran as dangerous. They fund Hamas and Hezbollah.

Ok, but how dangerous? Reporting is Israel was eager to attack when they did because Iran was about to build a nuke reconstitute their ballistic missile deterrence and threaten Israel's very existence Israel's complete freedom of action in the region. That doesn't seem to me like a country that feels truly endangered. But, even if they did, who cares? The people making these judgment calls, both the Israelis and Americans, are messianic lunatics and/or senile/alcoholic/stupid/corrupt/deviant/pedophilic warhawks.

The main point was about who, objectively, ought to be viewed as truly dangerous here.

I think it has been established that Iran would like a nuclear weapon.
If they get it, they might try to blow Israel off the face of the earth. They have claimed they would.

The other two parties already have nukes.
At the moment, the US & Israel are more lethal.
It takes at least two to fight.
Killing begets killing.
The carpet bombing of Iran is generating more life long lethal hate from the survivors who lose/lost precious family members.
So when Americans or Israelis die at the hands of an Iran or an Iranian terrorist, as horrific as that will be, should we be surprised?
US won't be. Dover AFB is "urgently hiring" people to sort through the personal effects of dead American soldiers.& civilians.
Just like the slaughter of 1,200 Israelis and 46 Americans in Oct 2024 triggered a response that has left 41,000+ Palestinians dead.
All of them are truly dangerous.
The cycle of violence continues.

The geopolitics of Israel-Iran-Hamas-the US are far too complicated for quick commentary but I will say that Isreal will be in a better position when Netenyahu is put to pasture. His pushing to get the US to withdraw from the JCPOA (along with significant lobbying from the UAE and Saudi Arabia who want destabilization to take over territory) did not make this situation any better.
