Nutman, are you Dan Rosen?

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=668121

It's May 1, not April 1... right?  Just checking.

Dan Rosen sure covers his bases, though.  He also has Why the Blackhawks will win the Stanley Cup and Why the Rangers will win the Stanley Cup.

:D Didn't realize he had those other articles too.  Damn you Rosen!

It's an NHL.com conspiracy.  Other NHL.com writers have identically titled articles about other teams, presumably all NHL teams.

There can only be one!

If I could photoshop a Leaf jersey and a hockey stick with a hilt onto the Highlander, I would.

I suppose I could do a really really poorly done one, but, it just wouldn't feel right. That's more of a pre-season move.

Win or lose tonight, this team has took a big step.  ;D

Take a highly experienced Cup contender to Game 7 where all bets are off, is a big step forward. Just like the Marlies run last year it will pay off in the future.

So far the Leafs have been the only team to even challenge Boston. I think we have  a better team then even I gave them credit for.
if the B's go on to the cup final, we can say one thing, Boston and the NHL was given notice the Leafs are back. I cant wait for next season to come, because this time I am sure Boston has a new found respect for The Leafs.

Not to throw water on the Leafs but we knew Boston was struggling heading into the playoffs. They only won 3 of their last 10 games. Was Toronto taking Boston to game 7 about the Leafs playing really well or Boston struggling and not finding their groove yet? Toronto taking them to 7 is still huge for this team but don't just assume we're so good because we're the only team to challenge them thus far. Boston in round 1 is not Boston in round 3.

Struggling!!!. so your saying that fast start to the series was struggling... ok. thay were nothing but good coming in, they were kicking our butts, and we came back and almost took them out. I believe your argument is full of fault. and I am sure if you ask any Bruin they will tell you they had there hands full with the Leafs.

They definitely had their hands full with the Leafs. But you can't just overlook that Boston wasn't playing as well in round 1 than now in round 3. They're a better team now. Perhaps if the Leafs faced round 3 Boston the series wouldn't have lasted 7 games. Just raising the point that teams go through stretches and it's safe to say Boston wasn't at their best against the Leafs.

The first round I watched Boston came out flying. they played just as good as they have for the 2nd and 3rd rounds. we were just a much tougher team. and I'll bet we would have dumped NYR as well and I also think we could have beat Pitt. so give credit where credit is due. the Leafs are better then you think.

Yep I have to agree with that, the Bruins have elevated their game a lot since round 1.

It was Bruins coach Claude Julien who first said that the Leafs were no doubt.
a contender, as well as Sidney Crosby who uttered similar words.

Those are worthy accolades and prove that the Leafs had already earned the respect.
