Kadri vs. Kopitar should be an interesting battle to watch. Anze's having a rough start offensively (2 goals, 4 assists in 12 games), but his CF% is still dominant at 57.49% (which is actually low for his standards).

Man, I know I said elsewhere that Kesler's contract is probably the worst in the NHL right now but Brown sure wants to make it an argument.

5 more years after this one. Crazy. Remember when Lombardi was widely considered the best GM in the league?

Martinez is the points leader for the Kings.  Interesting.

Plus they aren't exactly Kings of the Road right now.  1-4-0 I believe.

Due for a let down, the Kings grind on them and it's a long night.

Either that or the kids speed overwhelm them. ;)
Last year Leafs won 5-0 and lost in LA 2-1. So yeah, this is winnable.

I think every game is winnable, comes down to how our best players perform.  Hopefully Andersen has another good game as well.

Quick's isn't great either, 6 more years after this season.

Tonight's battle isn't the most important one on the docket, not by a long shot.  All I can say is, my family and I are doing everything we can to deliver Michigan to Hillary's column.  If we don't get it done nationwide, the Leafs will have to figure out how to play w/o Kadri whenever they come here to the states.  :P

Don't forget Matthews. The Leafs are chock full of folks for Trump to side-eye.

Asked Babcock [if] he sees frustration in Matthews' line over not producing. Said he didn't know they weren't. Judges on quality of chances.

The Dubas is strong with this one.

Which is great and everything but it sounds like the question is whether or not Matthews and Nylander are frustrated which is actually more interesting.

Matthews has been asked that for the past two weeks, and he says pretty much the same thing: we're getting chances, so we'll just keep doing that.

Matthews is pretty polished with saying the right thing. What Babcock has seen is a different matter.

I think Babcock is doing the job of protecting his players quite well.

He'll have really annoyed the Leafs' press by the end of the season...honeymoon is over.
