Komarov in deep do-do with the law in Finland

I wonder if TO could use the moral(s) clause and get out from under Komarov's contract?

Why would the Leafs want to do that?

How is it possible to properly manage the $s when such modest players like Komarov are being paid 3 mil. per. He's entertaining and loveable but he's not a player who should be so well compensated and he's 28, going to be 32 when his contract expires, not the type of player that TO should have at the onset of a rebuild.

We are discussing untradeable players because of their contracts I would include Leo in that discussion, 3 mil. was too much but 4 years was overkill.

Hobot, you're fired.

I don't care much for Komarov's contract, but it'll expire while Marner and Nylander are both still on their ELCs. There's no reason that we absolutely have to get rid of him like that. Especially since I'm sure some other team would give us a pick for him.

The Komrade play hard rat like hockey. I love him when he is on. I need something to cheer for this year. When the time is right lets get a pick for him.

The contract may be a little excessive in terms of $ and length, but I think he is the kind of player that is good to have around a young team...works hard, appears to set a good example. I guess we'll find out if that impression is accurate, based on how long management chooses to keeps him around.

The young players can all learn how to lie to police better by learning from his example.

Ah, didn't realize he's already been tried and found guilty. Thanks for clearing that up, all knowing one!

Will he be released from jail in time for training camp?  :o
