Kyle Dubas is new Leafs GM

I'm trying to remember which press conference someone asked Babcock (or a Leaf) a really poop emoji question, and it turned out to be the ol' Soup Ken.

The reporter talking about Cherry was Ken Campbell.

Leafs now hold the record for biggest age difference from previous GM to current GM. 44 year age gap between Lou and Kyle

How are Tavares' underlying numbers?

These are not every single game, and they are manually tracked passing/entry/exit data, visualized by @CJTDevil's

Bar graphs are easier.  I see a lot of high numbers out of 100, so he's good.

Unless you?re the absolute head honcho, there isn?t one of us who hasn?t been at our job and thought ?If I were in charge, you know what I?d do differently??? It?s only human nature, so I?m sure that while Kyle Dubas was working under Maple Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello, he had a few of those thoughts, too. For example, maybe he?d like to switch from using the fax machine every day in favour of more email (note: that?s not entirely a joke).

On the day Leafs announced Brian Burke as GM, Dubas was celebrating his 23rd birthday. Man I'm old

I'll be very curious to see if, or maybe how quickly, Dubas adds to the advanced stats/nerds team. They've barely touched that department since Dubas originally put it together.

Just listened the Dubas introduction on the radio. Nothing overly exciting mentioned.

The reporters kept going back to Hunter trying to get something out of Shanahan or Dubas but they did a pretty good job talking around the Hunter questions. Shanahan did acknowledge that Hunter really wanted the job and did praise Hunter a fair bit and actually corrected himself when he mentioned Hunter is past tense to present tense. So... I am guessing he's gone and the Leafs probably already know it.

Surely Hunter wouldn't leave before the draft.  would he?
