Leafs 2015/2016 Schedule in 10 game chunks

Canucks and Oilers play twice in the last stretch of games, will be interesting to see how this tank battle plays out.

Those two games might be enough to make sure one of those teams stays ahead of the Leafs.

what happens will happen.  if we really do have a half decent management team in place we'll get the players we need.  if not then one player probably isn't going to be enough to save us.  Even Wayne Gretzky couldn't get the LA Kings the cup.

Exactly!  Very well said.  It really reflects the way I feel too.  ;)

It's a good point especially when looking at Edmonton's recent track record.  All those #1 overall picks and they still stink.  Takes the right mix of players and proper development of said players to build a winner.  That being said, adding Auston Matthews couldn't hurt the Leafs could it?  ;)

but it has been an interesting season to say the least, especially the last month with the arrival of the Kiddie Corp. With Lou saying another 50% change over by opening of camp next year, means a lot of vets are not going to be around. Never more promise on the future than now even if it takes 3 or 4 more years, you can start to see where this is going.

The final two!!!  It's too bad we have to wait until April 30th for the draft lottery though, was hoping to find out right away.

One of the most amazing things about this season has been the Leafs' record within their own division. That part of their schedule is now completed, and the Leafs managed only 5 wins in 30 games - every other team in the league has at least 9 wins within their own division, and only 2 others (Calgary and Edmonton - each with a game remaining against a divisional opponent) have less than 11. The most incredible thing, though - only one team in the league didn't have more wins against the Atlantic division than the Leafs - Winnipeg, who also had 5. Granted, those numbers include games against the Leafs, but, in every case, even if we assume they won every game against Toronto (which we know isn't true, but nevertheless), no team would have less than 5 wins against the rest of the Atlantic, despite having played less games (and, in most cases, significantly so).

That wraps up another chunk season.  Will be very interesting to see how next year goes with all the change in the air.

Thanks Zee, ZBBM, RedLeaf, and Carlton for all your hard work gutting out this season's game-by-game posts.
