Campbell is going to be the guy most people focus on, but I've always been kinda intrigued by Kyle Clifford too. And IIRC the Leafs have been linked to him in the past. He'll become a fan favourite here pretty quickly. I know in the past he's been a decent hockey player aside from his physical play as well, hopefully that's still there.

Campbell is signed for 2 more seasons.

$675mil AAV this season, $1.65mil AAV for the 2 seasons after that. More than the league minimum than we've allocated for a back-up lately but obviously that hasn't gotten us very far.

Clifford is an UFA after this season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Clifford re-signed, obviously depends on his performance in the next couple months though. But he's only 29 years old and he's somewhat a local guy (from southern Ontario). Would need to keep his AAV at or below $1mil though.

Coming into this season I did like Moore, but I really was cautioning others who said he could step into more of a 3rd line role on  the team. I know he's had injury issues this season but he really has been kinda invisible so I don't view his addition in this trade to be a big loss. Potentially losing two 2nd rounders could hurt, especially since it's for a back-up goalie and a 4th liner. Obviously Dubas was kinda backed into a corner here, potentially because of his own inaction. This is a pretty tough trade to grade right now.

I'm not liking doing Moore for rental Clifford and Campbell for 2nd & 3rd. What did Can Talbot get?

Yeah but all of LA is a tire fire. Let's see how this shakes out. Some were.hoping for Campbell instead of Georgiev.
