Leafs @ Avs - Dec. 22nd, 9:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

Though, looking at some of their possession numbers and such, I would expect Columbus is going to hit a rough patch once their goaltending drops off to a more sustainable rate. Their 5 on 5 CF% is middle of the pack, and their 5 on 5 shooting percentage is a little on the high side, too.

When I first saw Polak wind up, I thought it'd be a nice wide shot that would hit the corner of the rink.

True, they're probably good, just not this good.

I hope they crash and burn just so their fans will quit it with their 5th line moniker and collective ego stroking.

I do agree that there is a chance, a chance, that Sam Gagner doesn't have a 35 goal/70 point season.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that was meant to be a feather pass to Marner.

I'll tell you what's going on in CBJ: John Davidson's 'stache emits a powerful aura that makes men quake and women's knees shake.

Well on Facebook someone asked what I thought tonight would end up and I said Destruction. Who would of thought

There won't be a replay on it, but that was a beauty of a stick check by Matthews to breakout of the zone after a double icing.

Oh look, Matt Martin fighting a useless fight that does nothing for the game and can only provide any advantage for a Colorado team that is listless.

On Gretzky, has there ever been a player so much better at their sport than everyone else that ever played the game before or since?

I don't think he was better than Lemieux.

If he had just kept skating he could have drawn a powerplay.

With Brown down the tunnel and Martin in the bin, probably going to see Nylander bumped to line 1 for a bit after this PK.

Edit: Brown is back.

I tend not to think fighting actually does much but a fight in "retaliation" for McLeod's run on Matthews earlier is about as legit as fighting gets.
