No you won't.  They no longer market the product under that name because it's racist.

Also you spelled it wrong.  Dude.

Nylander is a breakaway wizard. They complete the comeback but it'll take a few more to get that start taste out of my mouth.

Fingers crossed about last night being meaningful in the grand scheme of the season. Fingers extremely crossed.

We'll know next game.  First game home after a long trip play a Detroit team that is better than expected.

More luckier than expected. They're still getting caved in when it comes to scoring chances and high danger chances against.

It was good to see Engvall getting back to being a big giant butthole that the other team just starts seeing red mist over. He is too fast to chase, too big to intimidate, and has an unfair reach advantage if anyone ever tried to drop gloves with him.

He can out Giraffe the best of them. Actually outside of one or two gaffes, he played a good game.

Holl and Muzzin can be demoted to 3rd pairing now please.

If Muzzin's injured, he just needs to stop playing for awhile. If he's not, we're in trouble.

He might be washed up
Muzz was a two year guy on a four year contract, his knees are f__ked  and he can't keep up and Holl is an anchor that he can no longer pull along and save.

And we don't have enough options on the Marlies (outside of Liljegren) who could step up and play a regular shift.  Its a real problem.

Well it's time to plan the parade, 5 years and 8 games into the 6th year of the rebuild and TO was able to come back from a 2 goal deficit against the worst team in the NHL, something to celebrate!

Man I love the cynicism in Leaf Land.  For better or worse they are our team and we should get behind them warts and all and cheer em on.  Life in the hard cap is hard.  Just ask Tampa, Denver and Vegas.

I'm just going to put this here:

There's no winning tonight...they win and people will say "wow, you beat an AHL team for once", or they lose and they'll burn down the Scotiabank Arena overnight.

Did that make you feel better?

Awesome.  One of the luckiest teams meets one of the most unluckiest teams.  I think I'll pick some more mix for Saturday night.

Anyone look at the standings? We're not the only team having a rough start, hell we're only 4 points out of second in the East...lol

While true we also have the 3rd worst point percentage because we have played 8 games so the Leafs gap could be bigger by the team games played evens out.  That being said, 8 games is too small of a stretch of hockey for 3-4-1 to sink a team.  They just have less of a margin for error the rest of the season.

Of the teams largely predicted to finish near the top of the standings, the Leafs, Avs, Bolts, and Golden Knights have all had terrible starts. It's a weird early season.

Andersen is 6-0 with a 1.33gaa. Florida is 7-0. The sabres are 5-1. Nothing makes sense yet this season.

Florida was expected to be pretty good this year - not highest scoring team in the league good, but good. The rest? Craziness. Buffalo and Detroit would face each other in the playoffs if the season was this short. There are 3 teams currently below 2 goals a game, which is basically unheard of over the course of a full season.

No one has played more than 8 games. The league is not even 10% through the season. It's extremely early, and that's when things get weird.
