Almost as funny was the "breakout" there with Ranger standing behind the net, Fraser looking like Lot's wife at Gomorrah off to the side, and of course nowhere to go with the puck to get it ACTUALLY OUT OF THE DAMN ZONE WHICH THEY DIDN'T.

I actually think a pillar of salt would be more effective than Fraser.

True.  We could use it to preserve a fish or something.

They've had more lopsided scores and shot counts but I honestly think the Leafs have been more outclassed in this game than in any other game this season.

So nobody thinks this team will find their game in time to secure a playoff spot now?

They've found their game for all of one full 60 minute effort this season. One. In 33 games. So, yeah, I'm going to go with probably not.

Yet they still hold a playoff spot, albeit by the skin of their teeth right now.

If they go 22 wins, 22 losses, and 6 OT... they'll have a 12.3% chance.  Right now, they're not trending in even that direction.  Although there could be a statistical abnormality, it's usually been pretty accurate and allot earlier predictor of the doom and gloom.

Give it a week or two. At this rate, they won't be hanging on to one anymore.

Well. I speak for everyone here when I say I hope your wrong!  ;)

Hey, I hope I'm wrong, too, but, right now, the evidence is unfortunately on my side. Barring a miraculous comeback, after tonight's loss, the team will have officially lost more games this season than they have won.

I'm not picking sides. I'm just hoping they can turn this thing around in time.

I have really liked what the St Louis GM has done with what he has had for resources.  Even with re-signing key players last summer the Blues are still in the middle of the league at 14th.

How many of you are still watching the game?

Sadly. I still am.

I am watching the Tampa/ Detroit game.  Watching Crombeen killing penalties, who is their enforcer as well, makes me realize how much that I have lowered my standards for the Leafs tough guys.
