Hyman?s silky feed down to Matthews leading up to Brown?s goal was simple but unexpected from him. He?s got skillz.

Imagine if his linemates played a bit higher on his net drives on the curl passes.

He?s been playing with World Class players since college(Larkin), with his work ethic, there is more to come from Zach.

With the most complimentary connotations available, he?s our Zach Quinto from Inglorious Bastards.

Zach Quinto wasn't in Inglorious Bastards.

Fun fact, that role was meant for Adam Sandler.

Yes and again I honestly mean that in the most complimentary way possible, he's awesome.

As I posted in the thread that dare not speak its name, I thought we needed Andersen to steal one, and he did. It's up to Matthews and Marner to hold serve at home now. I wish I could include Nylander in that, but he's been invisible. Maybe this is the moment he steps up?

And really guys, yes, the officiating was frustrating, but only one call was dubious. Leafs have to tread carefully in that area in Game 6.

Also, God love Tyler Bozak. Just before he scored I said outloud to myself, "We need Bozak to get a breakaway." It wasn't a breakaway, but damn if this guy doesn't score big goals when he gets a shot. I really hope he takes a discount to stay.

There's no way you can tell me they couldn't have found 3-4 calls against the Bruins all night. They call 6 on the Leafs and the only one against Boston happened cause the stick was literally stuck in Johnsson's skate otherwise that wouldn't have been called either. I didn't realize the Bruins were team Lady Byng winners

I just saw the 3rd Boston goal in the highlights and wow that bounce.

Yeah that was an unfortunate bounce.  Leafs still haven't played their best game, I fully expect them to win handily on Monday night to force game 7.

The 1st goal was another fortunate bounce for the B's. So 2 lucky bounces and Gardiner crapping the bed on the 2nd goal accounts for the 3 against.  Don't care how the Leafs do it, just win.

As always, it's not the calls themselves, it's the calls in the context of the non-calls that made the officiating so egregious.

Exactly. Chara punching Gardiner in the face and nothing but Jake gets roughing? That's a joke.

Gotta hate when that happens. Pretty accurate description, though. If Jake deserved a penalty (and he probably did) for getting involved in the scrum, Chara certainly deserved one for that punch.
