Thanks, Carlton!

I don't think I'll ever fully understand the three-player carousel for the 4D slot when 5/6 are both worse than at least two of the options.

Anyway, makes sense playing the bigger Marincin against the Bs tonight and the faster Carrick against the Avs tomorrow. Thanks, schedule makers, for a b2b with travel.

I certainly hope that Polak and Hunwick playing over guys like Carrick and Corrado makes sense to someone because I'm not seeing it.

We all know the Bruins reek. How is it that they are way ahead of us?  *<puzzlement>*

Rask is running at a 0.933 save percentage.
The team as a whole has a 54.56% CF% at 5v5 (score and venue adjusted), 1st in the league. We are 13th with 51.22%.

David Pastrnak, one of Nylander's BFFs, is riding shotgun to Corsi-gods Patrice Bergeron (63.7%) and Brad Marchand (63.2%), and is shooting the lights out at 23.1% with an impressive CF% of 62.9%.

The team overall is very good at limiting shots against, while the Bergeron line does most of the damage. Krejci's takes advantage of the softer match ups. Anything that gets through is swallowed up by Rask.

Their weakness is that they are a top-heavy team. There isn't much left if any of their top core players drops off or hits an injury slide.

You're an amazing contributor to this site, man.  My question was entirely in jest, driven by my dislike for Boston.  Thanks for the explanation.

That's the second time in recent memory Craig Simpson has referred to the "old saying" that it's "never too late to go back to the front of the net". Has anyone ever heard that before?

Apologies folks, I can't help myself.  That man is freaking AWFUL.

I was wondering where the clowns and elephants were. He looked like the ringmaster at the circus.

Tough for Marincin but I'm not sure what the call would be there. Tripping?

Boarding, possibly.

Rule 45. Board Checking and Checking from Behind
a. A minor or major penalty, at the discretion of the Referee based upon the degree of violence of the impact with the boards, shall be imposed on any player who bodychecks, cross-checks, elbows, charges or trips an opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to be thrown violently into the boards.
