I don't understand why the PP seems to be set up to give Marner shot opportunities.  Everyone is bunched up on Matthews and Tavares and yet Marner takes those flub shots.

He's got to work on his one-timer.  He passes up chances much closer to the net and then does broom sweeps like that.

Matthews out for over 2 minutes ... he is in beast mode.

This just feels like Price is gonna stop everything tonightt

To be honest other than the crossbar that did beat him they haven?t really tested him with good quality chances. The one by Tavares I thought was their best chance and if he would of tipped it rather than taking to his forehand might of beat Carey.

I like the Leafs tonight, I think if Wille was out there it may be a completely different game.
Very good road game. Limiting the habs to not many high danger shots. Campbell is solid, made a few beauties. Actually looks like he knows what he's doing.

No A one chances tonight, hopefully in the third period.

Leafs have been the better team. The defensive effort is impressive.  You could lose a game like this and feel good.  They haven?t allowed anything.  Let?s see how the 3rd goes.

Third period could be challenging.  High-pace game through 2, B2B, I'd be happy with 1 point if they can manage it TBH.

Dear Hockey Gods,

Can Leaf fans just get a laugher? And to be perfectly clear the laugher is one Leaf fans would like...not the laughers we?ve been watching lately....

Sandin is something ? what a calm lob out of trouble.
Same with Liljegren there. So young and so calm. One thing I don't like is them out there with the 4th line who haven't been too good tonight. Keep going boys. They're playing a great road game and Matthews is the best player on the ice. No goals but great in his own end.
