Leafs @ Canadiens - May 29th, 7:30pm - CBC, Fan 590

That play epitomized the Leafs offence tonight. Foligno had a chance at a 2 on 1, but couldn't control the puck and then shot it into the bench. The Leafs have had a hard time controlling the puck at times and that has given the Habs time to close on them.

Leafs can?t even get the puck past the neutral zone the last few minutes
The Canadians look like the better team. The Leafs have a few players with better individual skills but something seems to be missing. Again.

Overpass much?

That's the part I like about Mtl's game, they're just getting it on net. Leafs overplaying the puck.

Ultimately the players play the game but doesn?t Keefe see this. Should be brought up and a long time ago especially on the PP over the last couple months. Lot of opportunities to shoot and not only tonight. Don?t want to shoot staple them on the bench.

I just don't get it, year after year, I know it isn't over yet but why year after year do we get a team that for no reason just stops playing? I really don't get it.

Simmonds has not really had a great game with the puck.

Period over, still tied.

He hasn?t done anything the entire series really.  Simmonds was not great coming back from his broken hand and has continued the mediocre play in the postseason.

Just started watching and was thinking we were getting outplayed and then I have read some remarks that at least we are playing better in the 2nd period.  Wow!  Has it been that bad?

Yes.

The entire team is off tonight. Kerfoot who has been incredible all series has no jump.

Did they all go out and get loaded last night?

I have low expectations for the third.
