The team's goaltending isn't good enough.
I don't think either of those is on Rittich.
Nope.

I think he should have had the second one.  Marner was pretty far out when he tipped it.  In any case, Holtby has been making all the difficult saves.

Nylander continues to be the best player on the ice.  Felt he was the best Leafs last game too
Yep, Nylander has it going for sure. Think Sandin has looked mostly good. Kerfoot and Tavares playing well. Rest of team, not so much.

They're just playing way too pretty again. They need to take Holtby's eyes away. They aren't going to get perfect plays and shots off every time. Sounds a bit trite I know but...

Willy just did. JT with a beauty.

JT!! Nylander with the screen!

I'm gonna pull an Azzurri and say "I told you I was right yet again!" [emoji23]

That powerplay still looked really problematic.  Too much stationary play with Rielly up top not creating shooting opportunities.

Great shot and a nice screen in front though

Nice to see a PP goal but why did Matthews spend most of that PP about a mile from the goal...

Why did 4 of them do that?  It's ridiculous.  Not only is there no movement, what movement there is, is 40 feet away from the goal.
