Winnik killed that entire 5-on-3 penalty (ignoring the whole actual goal thing).

Really, in the bigger scheme of things it was an excellent kill.  The only problem was winning a couple of FOs and then not getting it out.

They got lucky with a couple of Anaheim whiffs, but yeah it was a pretty good kill.

Won a draw or two as well. He's a beast.

Rielly proving naysayers wrong. He's got a good shot.

He really doesn't.  It's just not nearly as bad as it is made out to be.  He doesn't have a slapshot and his wrist shot isn't accurate enough to be really effective at this point.  He is able to get a decent velocity on the shot when he gets it right though.  He just needs to learn to keep the puck down more so that it is either tippable or just gets on net more.

Phaneuf really needs to stop playing with 2 hands on the stick all the time.  He can't protect the puck that way.

I've said it before this season, but the myth of the big bad West is absolute horsesh!t. The amount of hooking, holding, interference and borderline charges they get away with is laughable.

It's like the Western Conference is playing pre 04-05 lockout hockey.

Clarkson doing his best to try and get called for a penalty.  Pushing Kesler rather than playing hockey and then going back at him after the whistle too.  Kesler had no interest in having anything to do with him.  That's exactly how you get called for penalties.
