"Anaheim getting physical with the Maple Leafs" - Greg Millen

Facewashing after every single whistle isn't physical play.

Thinking the same thing.  As someone said, don't know why it's been chippy.

Parenteau Johnny-on-the-Spot again.

He's the goal scorer but JVR has been the best forward IMO.

Parenteau again, 2-0.

Gardiner is so good right now.  Made a fantastic cross ice pass through the neutral zone to start the play that wound up in the goal.  Won't get an assist but started it all.

Gardiner starts the power play and gets the assist on Parenteau's goal.  Maybe now Babcock might put him out there first more regularly.  (And this will finish my pitiful rant on this little topic).

It's ok, honestly, Babcock has Rielly and Gardiner working on their defensive play and it seems to be working. He's not stupid, somewhere down the line both of them will start getting prime power play time.

Millen is right there about Komarov's great pass but give Polak a little bit of credit for the second A, carried the puck nicely.

Anaheim looks awful.  So many defensive zone turnovers.

3-0 Kadri

They showed the shots as 16-10 in the 2nd period.  Not sure how Anaheim has managed 10 shots this period.

I felt that way about the 1st period too.  Anaheim did not have 18 shots in the first period.

Honestly gotta love the way the team plays on most nights. Completely unexpected as far as I'm concerned. With some decent goaltending the first month of the season this team would be right in there for a playoff spot.

I know it's an easy faux pas but I swear I've heard the announcer say at least once that Randy Carlyle was making adjustments behind the bench.
