Leafs were dozey for most of this but they do have the capacity to explode.

As long as they?re within a couple goals, this team is never out of a game when there?s time left.

Simmonds scored by flubbing his shot on the breakaway but I will say that he has been doing the physical aspects of the game that make him serviceable on the 4th line

Yep.  They can score like no Leafs team I've seen.

Well slow start not much in the first 2 periods but they ramped it up and dominated the 3rd. See what Florida brings us in the next 2 games.

Good game in the end. Sloppiness in the beginning but they managed to pull it off. Hard to deny that offense.

On a side note it's kind of hilarious that our franchise record setting point pace is only good for (barely) 2nd in our division.

The cure for whatever was ailing Tavares is a steady dose of Rasmus Ristolainen and Carter Hart.

Yup. Atlantic is nuts this year. Two legit cup contenders in the East are going home in the first round.

Even stupider is they could be in a wildcard spot.

Did anyone else's feed of the game have these weird stutters in it where it jumped back a couple of seconds randomly?  Had a real Moon Knight vibe to it.

Also that is now two recent games where an opposing player has attacked the Leafs while they were celebrating a goal.  I think that some sort of warning should be issued.
