Leafs @ Habs - Nov. 18th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

I really like the changes Babs made to the line-up mid game:

Martin-Matthews-Marner
Komarov-Kadri-Nylander
Hyman-Marleau-Brown
JVR-Bozak-Moore

Imagine we subbed Leivo and Soshnikov there for Martin and Moore though. That's 2 solid checking lines and 2 solid scoring lines. Basically four top-6 lines.

Is there any player more disappointing that Mitch Marner this year?

15 points in 21 games.

You know, he hasn't been real conspicuous tonight but I have been watching and boy was I ever wrong to doubt acquiring Marleau.  He is dead-solid-perfect almost all the time -- positioning, always making the smart play.  He almost never makes big mistakes.

Watch Weber be more worried about covering Matt Martin than Auston Matthews.

It's hard to say if he's a $6.25mil player (he probably isn't), but yeah he's been consistently solid all season.

Last year the Leafs 4th line was pretty awful offensively.

Martin/Boyle/Gauthier/Soshnikov/Smith - 14G 14A 28P

This year: Martin/Moore - 4G 8A 12P

He's worth the money just as a stabilizer -- especially if they decide to move any of the vet UFAs before the end of the season.

So Andersen now has 3 shutouts on the season already.  His career high is 4.  He's really turned it around.  Very impressive.

Coming into this 6-game win streak Andersen had an .895 SV%.  After tonight his SV% is up to .914
