I predict Reimer gets pulled after the Leafs score the first goal, Reimer goes postal and sets Randy Carlyle on fire.
That would please everyone on this site because he would be gone.

Reimer would get help from the young guy who got benched for scoring the first goal.

I've all but stopped expecting good things from this team, but I won't stop watching because apparently I don't know any better. :P

I won't stop watching because I have nothing better to do.

And we can?t stop.

Hopefully that song is played after tonight's game.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken - along with Bolland going down, this whole slump started when it came out that it was their "victory song."

This could simply be the Universe trying to correct itself...

Possibly. But when we want him gone, it's more in a "fired and replaced by a coach with a different approach to the team", not really in a "let's immolate him" way.

Yeah. I don't wish any physical harm upon him. He seems like a perfectly nice guy. I just don't want him coaching the Leafs.

We are never happy with any Leafs coach. #truth

Yeah don't get me wrong.  I would never wish any physical harm on anybody.

You can pretty much say that about any team that isn't contending for a championship. Coaches generally have a shelf life. For some, it's longer than other.

I'm losing faith in the coaching not the team. I think we have a solid team, only problem is it is being coached wrong. Or should I say with the wrong players, in all the wrong places, doing all the wrong things.

that's not true. I had no ongoing issues with Quinn or Burns. Even Maurice was ok. I could take or leave Wilson.

But Carlyle is approaching Tom Watt levels of ineptness with me.

Actually - complete side note - you know what shocks me - I just looked up # of games coached since 1977, Wilson has the 2nd most games as coach behind Quinn. I didn't realize he was here that long.

His tenure was basically as long as Burns', but Burns had a shortened season in there.

If Nonis doesn't fire Carlyle after tonight, it's a multi-million dollar mistake for MLSE.

They are going to win this evening, I find it hard to fire a coach after victory. Just saying

As much as I'd like to see that happen if they play poorly, I think Carlyle probably has at least another couple weeks until Nonis will actually drop the ax.

I really don't think he gets fired until after the season is over. And only if they miss the playoffs.
