Fraser had every opportunity to get that puck out but gently put it in the opposite corner for a Carolina player. The Leafs never got possession of the puck back.

He's awful.  I can handle mistakes by players that actually contribute in other areas but what does he provide?

"Hey if you think Gardiner gives the puck away, we've got a deal for you: slower and more giveaways!"

Carlyle losing with his guys.

That Skinner kid is something. What a go getter.

Honestly I've tuned in for about 7 minutes and I'm already about to check out. The problem is the alternative games on are Florida-Buffalo and Dallas-New Jersey.

And more likely to find himself out of position because he likes to hit people.

I'm not rooting against Reimer at all, I actually like him just as much as Bernier, but it would at least be a LITTLE funny if he gets pulled tonight.

Especially if Carlyle did it after two goals.

Well really, nobody should blame either goalie. If it weren't for Bernier and Reimer, this team might have five wins all year.

Ignoring the weak goals from Bernier's last outing, nobody is actually blaming the goalies.  Most people who were commenting last game are upset/angry/annoyed at the fact that Carlyle does not appear to be treating Reimer fairly - Bernier seems to have a bigger leash.

Paint is drying somewhere.

Reimer is probably devastated Bernier tailed off the last few games. He probably thought he was off somewhere with a chance to win

Probably because they perceive Bernier to have the higher ceiling. I think they're right about that. But in any case the Leafs have waaaaaay bigger problems than goaltending.

the replay shows him coasting back to the net before the goal. There were 3 Hurricanes in front with 1 Leaf d man.

At least they're hitting. Clarkson has had some good shifts. The defensive coverage by the centres is non existent.

Kadri needs to watch the next game from the pressbox.
